ProfileClaw Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we process personal information when we provide account services, career assessments, preference profiles, resume parsing, reports, report chat, points, redeem codes, APIs, and related product features.

At a Glance

This policy reflects the product that is live today

It is written against ProfileClaw's actual assessment, resume, report, billing, and API flows as they exist today.

What we collect

Account and session data, career profile and constraints, assessment submissions, parsed resume data, report and chat history, orders and points records, API usage, and security logs.

Why we use it

To run authentication, generate results and reports, parse resumes, deliver paid access, manage points and subscriptions, protect APIs, and improve service quality after de-identification where appropriate.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, supplementation, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or account closure. Some controls are already available in-product and the rest can be requested by email.

Policy Text

Privacy Policy

This text is aligned with ProfileClaw's current product scope. If we later add live job feeds, automated applications, or other higher-risk flows, we will update this policy.

Section 01

1. Scope

This section defines what this policy covers.

1.1 Covered services

This policy applies to ProfileClaw pages and services related to accounts, assessments, preferences, resume parsing, reports, report chat, points, redeem codes, APIs, webhooks, and related backend processing.

Feature-specific notices, checkout notices, and API notices may supplement this policy where needed.

1.2 Third-party services

We may rely on third-party providers for authentication, payment, email, AI model access, cloud infrastructure, and logging.

If you move onto a third-party page or sign-in flow, that third party's own rules apply to the data it collects directly from you.

Section 02

2. Information we collect

We collect information that maps to real product needs.

2.1 Account, profile, and activity data

We process account identifiers, email address, avatar, session data, IP address, user agent, and related security records.

We also process your career profile, constraints, assessment answers, scores, result data, report content, report chat messages, and other information needed to run the service.

2.2 Resume, orders, and developer data

When you upload a resume, we process file metadata, file content, and parsing results. In the current product version, we mainly retain the parsed structured resume data rather than providing long-term user-facing source file hosting.

When you buy access or use developer features, we process order status, points ledger records, subscription state, redeem records, API key metadata, rate-limit records, and related usage logs.

Section 03

3. How we use information

Each processing activity must map to a concrete service purpose.

3.1 Service delivery

We use information to run sign-in, save your profile, record assessments, parse resumes, generate reports, power report chat, and deliver paid or scoped API access.

The current Jobs page mainly acts as a workflow and matching shell. It is not automatically a fully connected real-time recruitment feed unless we clearly say so in a specific feature.

3.2 Security, billing, and analytics

We use logs, request data, and rate-limit records to protect service security, detect abuse, and enforce rules.

We may also use de-identified or anonymized data for service analysis, quality improvement, and similar path or trend capabilities where legally permitted.

Section 04

4. Sharing, retention, and your rights

This section summarizes how data moves and how you can act on it.

4.1 Sharing and retention

We may share or entrust processing to providers that help us run authentication, payments, AI access, email delivery, and cloud infrastructure. We may also act on your API, webhook, or data-sharing instructions within the scope you configure.

We retain information only for as long as needed for service delivery, legal compliance, audit, and security. Where cross-border processing is involved, we will follow the requirements of applicable law.

4.2 Your rights and contact

You may request access, correction, supplementation, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or account closure according to applicable law. Some rights are already supported through live product pages and other requests can be made by email.

ProfileClaw is generally not intended for independent use by children under fourteen. If you have questions about this policy or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@profileclaw.cn.
